Hiatus

Well, I thought after I had moved and started graduate school that I would have time to keep up with a blog again. Boy was I wrong. I've never been so busy in my entire life. I can't say that it is a bad thing, but it can get quite stressful and tiresome being in the studio 60+ hours a week. Anyway, I've finished my first semester of graduate school, and will be starting my second tomorrow. I feel like it is only right to post a few of my pieces from this semester.

Update after being MIA!

It has been way too long since I have used this! I have been crazy busy though. My summer was spent in Maine where I worked at an all girls summer camp. Maine is an amazing place, and its influences will most definitely show up in my work.

I am starting at my new school to work on my MFA tomorrow. New works will surely be posted soon!!

Here is a link to an album on my facebook page. It contains some ceramic pieces that are for sale. I am moving to Maine for two months this summer, and then moving to Dallas shortly after. Work in Progress

I've been working on this one for a few weeks off and on now. It will eventually be placed on the totem pole outside of the ceramic studio at YSU. So far, I'm pretty happy with it. I just need to do some final touch-ups and smooth out some of the surfaces. 

Texas, here I come.

I'm happy to say that I have been accepted to the University of Dallas for this coming fall. I will be entering their MFA program with a ceramics focus. I'm excited to continue my education and have the opportunity to create new works based off of all of the new inspiration.
